Thinking of Al

I'm not sure if Al from Canada still comes to this site, but I know it's been about a year since Linda passed away. While I'm sure your life is completly different now, I hope you and your family are all doing well. May you find peace in the promise of everlasting life, which means you will be reunited again with Linda.

hey Vi, I'm doing ok and I visit occasionally "in-cognito.....I doing ok but you know.. this is one thing I will never get over and will probably follow to my _____. Those who new me and knew Linda were aware that Linda and I had some thing really special and that is a double edged sword. I will never forget her and will always have a hard time moving forward without her. Kids are still not doing well and it seems that this is a case where psycho-therapy, nothing has made much difference. I guess when you loose someone that special and someone that close...nothing, nothing is ever the same,

Hope all the chemo-warriors are doing well, I wish I could be of more help but I still trying to sort things out. I know mt intenyion was to stay involved but it brings back too much pain. This is the 3rd person close to me I;ve watched die.
Love,
Al and linda (in spirit)

Al, we never "spoke" before or met, but my wife, Nicola may have, and she told me of your story and difficulties and was so impressed with you and Linda and your closeness. It sounded just like us. I was so sorry to hear of your loss. Believe it or not, you have been in my thoughts and prayers. I hope you and your children find Peace as you try to adjust to things. Take care, Bill

Praying for you Al and your family that God wraps his healing arms around you. Linda sounds like the beautiful person my mother was. She died of breast cancer in 1997 and I still hold her very close to my heart. She is the rock (in spirit) that is getting me through my battle with cancer. Only time heals the pain of losing someone special, but you never forget them. May you find some peace in your life.

Al,

So good to hear from you. I can only imagine how difficult loosing Linda still is for you and your family. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers, as I am sure many others who shared your journey still do.

"May the rain fall softly on your fields.....
May God hold you in the palm of your hand."

So good to hear from you

and glad you checked in because so many think of you. I know it's hard to move on because you and Linda had something extraordinary. No one could have asked for a more supportive, courageous partner than you were through her journey. You will never forget her and you've honored her in so many ways. I pray for peace for you and yours. You have to move on with your life, Linda would want that. Socialize, lose yourself in some other things and I think that will be helpful. Be well and please check in now and then to let us know how things are going.

Al,

I think of you often and miss your posts. I do know that you and Linda had something special and it will take time for your heart to heal.

Karen
