Hi all, Just had a recent pet scan which is rather confusing. It showed activity in the cyberknife area in lung. My onc said he is not sure if its residual disease or radiation changes. I do remember several monhs ago the radiologist said you may have tumor flare which is not cancer. Also there was some activity in lymph nodes between lungs....so my oncologist wants to wait a month and then do a ct of the chest. Any thoughts? Anyone with active lymph nodes, does that mean chemo? Radiation? Thanks, Cathy

I had a local recurrence in my chest wall 3 1/2 yrs from original diagnosis. Had surgery, radiation and ave been on Herceptin for the last 5+ years and am still NED. If your original breast cancer was HER2+ your treatment might be similar.
