Telehealth conferencing is an effective tool especially with patients in locations where in-person appointments with a desired specialist may not be an option. There are video conferencing softwares that requires purchasing expensive hardware. It also requires dedicated infrastructure which is complicated to set up and expensive to maintain. Some are cheaper.
