Treatment is all over
 

and I am pretty excited and alittle scared. Had some scans last week that all came back clear and my oncologist said that from here on out it will only be labs unless there is a reason that warrants further testing. That was music to my ears. I had reconstruction on friday and although it was tougher than I thought it would be, it is over and I am hoping to move forward NED forever. You are all in my prayers every day and the support from this group has been overwhelming and has dried many tears for me in the past year. I am only 14 months NED and I know that I have to deal with this for the rest of my life but I know that I have all of you to help me deal with whatever is dealt to me. Thank you all so much. I would love to write a personal message to each of you but I am afraid I will miss someone but those of you that have touched a special spot in my heart are very dear to me and I will be forever grateful for the great advise and comfort that you gave me. Hey, Chek! Great news that treatment is over! I can sure identify with you on the fears of no more treatments!! Even 6 years NED I miss my "safety net", I miss my frequent oncology visits, the endless bloodwork...the constant reminders that all still seems OK! I know that 6 years should also provide great comfort, and it does, yet I liked seeing it in writing after every dr. visit!!!

That is excellent news!! My diagnosis and treatment is so similar to yours, but I'm not finished yet. How encouraging! Get this stuff behind you, and let's move onward with things to do in regular life! Have a wonderful holiday.
