Abbreviated MRI detects more cancers than 3D mammography in women with dense breasts
 

According to a study published today in the Journal of the American Medical Association, abbreviated breast magnetic resonance imaging detected significantly more cancers than digital breast tomosynthesis in average-risk women with dense breast tissue.
