Pink dimple under armpit
Hi HER-2ers,
I had an annual dermatologist full body check on Monday and had a pink dimple under my right armpit (cancerous side) that was biopsied. The doctor thinks it may be folliculitis or a virus like molluscus. My mind is going elsewhere and thinking this could be related to my breast cancer. Has one had anything similar? Like little pink/whiteish dimples under the armpit? Can this be a sign that the cancer is back? Thanks!! Bejuce |
Re: Pink dimple under armpit
Marcy,
I have them from time to time usually when I have been outside working hard in the garden and sweating like a porker! If irritated and sore I apply zit cream which works wonders! Please post to let us know what yours turns out to be. My guess is it is nothing cancer related. |
Re: Pink dimple under armpit
I actually had them on my right breast that had the tumor. I was so panicked but found out it was related to my new athletic bra and sweat. I used an anti-fungal cream and it went right away. Hoping it is nothing like mine was - keep us posted!

Re: Pink dimple under armpit
Thank you both! Got the results a few minutes back and the dermatologist office said it was a benign lymphatic growth likely as a result of radiation and the treatment I had. Who knew something like this could pop up on my armpit skin so many years after! I did stop Tamoxifen after 8 1/2 years due to fatty liver but I don’t think these two events are related. Ah, the joys of cancer! Never stops to freak us out!

Re: Pink dimple under armpit
I remember having a spot on my chest and the skin doctor gave me a hydrocortisone cream and told me to apply it for two weeks. If it didn't disappear to go back as it likely was a met.
Luckily it went away but that was scary. Glad all is good there. best wishes, Cathy |
