You can join the Yoga for Breast Cancer Survivors Study if you match ALL of these categories:

• You are a breast cancer survivor who was treated for stage I, II, or IIIa disease within the last two years

• You do not have inflammatory breast cancer

• You have not had a recurrence of breast cancer (this is the first time you were diagnosed with breast cancer)

• Aside from your breast cancer diagnosis, you have never had any other cancer diagnosis besides skin cancer

• You have never been diagnosed with diabetes or an autoimmune disease (such as under active thyroid, over active thyroid, lupus, multiple sclerosis, or rheumatoid arthritis).

• You live close enough to Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio to be able to attend yoga there two times a week

do you live in/near columbus area? My mom had breast cancer and I live here, she lives about 2 hours away, but gets treatment here in Columbus.

You probably noticed by now that I live in Central Texas. That is a beautiful picture of you with the horse. Does your Mom's hospital provide good support for breast cancer patients? Has any Amercan Cancer Society member or breast cancer group member contacted her?

There is a college student posting on this board because her mother has HER2 breast cancer. I think her signature is "loveher".

I used the Search button on the gold bar and typed in "Ohio" to look for anybody that is located in that state. You might want to give it a try.

So, do you think your Mom might be able to participate in the Yoga study?
