Re: Early study hints that (HER2+) vaccine might work

Ladies,

This is the vaccine that SandraGA is receiving. I am very encouraged by the news, but we still have a long way to go before approval.

You need to enroll in the trial within 6 months of finishing Herceptin or primary treatment.

Most need to travel to participate, but insurance may cover the costs.

I strongly encourage participation in the vaccine trials. We are transitioning from the slash/poison/burn mentality to a focus on prevention. I am sure after all our experiences with cancer treatment that we collectively do not want another to suffer through what we experienced.

Lots of vaccine trials going on. Ask your oncologist if there are any near you.

This is the study that I am on in San Antonio! It is been fairly easy to complete. I. Have finished the vaccines and next week i have the skin test response. If you can, go for it, I'll take all the help I can get to keep Her 2 away.
