Cervix issues after completing treatment?

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to know if ANYONE had any cervix issues after completing your breast cancer treatment? I was on TCHP and finished in July 2016. Started ARIMADEX in March but stopped recently due to side effects. I am going for a second and third opinion. I was told to start AROMASIN but waiting to see what the breast cancer specialist suggests.

Had a pap today and so very nervous now. Nurse said my cervix looks red and looks like a "strawberry." I'm waiting for cultures and the pap to return.
Has anyone had cervix issue after treatment? Please share your experience. We all have been on potent drugs and many of the long term side effects are still unknown. I am anxious to hear how these drugs impacted your gynecological profile. Did anyone have any unusual symptoms? Did the drugs cause any gynecological infection or injury?

Thanks for sharing. Sometimes doctors just don't get it! We have to listen to our body. That's how I found my cancer after a normal mammogram!

Peace & Healing to All!

Re: Cervix issues after completing treatment?

I had horrible side effects from Tamoxifen. I underwent 4 D&Ns for uterine polyps last year. They would cause uncontrollable hemorrhaging so the D&Ns were necessary. Then I developed a blood clot so I had to get an ablation so I wouldn't hemorrhage and die because I was put on blood thinners. I'm not taking anything anymore and my cervix has been happy since ending my treatment with tamoxifen.
