Natural ways to shrink fibroids
 

Hello ladies,

Thought I'd post in the diet and nutrition forum for ideas on how to naturally shrink this fibroid that was found on my ultrasound.

I was diagnosed ER/PR negative 5 years ago, so haven't done Tamoxifen or any estrogen treatments.

I understand from some reading I could have the fibroid due to high levels of estrogen? That doesn't sound like a good situation for a breast cancer survivor.

I've tried reading about foods that increase or decrease estrogen and the internet info is conflicting.

I'm thinking about trying DIM or Chasteberry.

Has anyone tried a natural way to reduce fibroids - that worked?

I take DIM, but as part of my cancer prevention rather than for fibroids. I also take other things to regulate estrogen and prevent cancer recurrence, like Brevail and a hefty dose of vitamin D.

thank you so much for posting. I wanted to try DIM, and anything else that could help.

I had not heard of Brevail before and will definitely read up on that.

My doctor told me to take Vitamin D. I take between 400 to 1000 units, but I don't remember every day.

I'm trying to eat more veggies, less meat and dairy. It is hard to change my diet.
