Adding clear, clear, clear. Every time I go in the scanner I think of one of my favorite things: Bain de Soleil and the sun on my back. I feel such peace and connectedness with this thought. Hope you have good thoughts to bring in with you.

Re: Scan tomorrow!

Not sure what to expect. Was on taxotere & herceptin for just two cycles because I had such a bad reaction to the taxotere. The oncologist will be starting me on TDM1 and wants a "baseline" MRI.

I had an ablation on 12/31/12 and was off treatment until 2/20/13 (what a wonderful 3 months - thank You, Lord). My scan post-ablation showed that the ablated area appeared dead (they don't officially call it dead until the area has shown no sign of growth for a year). However, there was a new tiny satellite lesion, and also several others that the report said may or may not be cancer. The report actually said something about no evidence of interval metastasis but recommended another scan to be sure. So this scan should be interesting.

I had such a tough time with taxotere that it would be a shame if all the suffering was for nothing, but it's happened to me before. Tykerb nearly killed me and the tumor grew while I was on it.

Will keep you posted. Thanks for prayers.

Penny

Hoping for the best possible news!

I had one last week too, we seem to be on a similar schedule. I'll be starting TDM1 soon too. I get the results of my scan April 3rd (my choice, I could get them earlier but I feel that I am going to get bad news so no need to rush it).

I hope yours shows NED! :) I will be eagerly awaiting your good news!

Re: Scan tomorrow!

Ann, my next scheduled doc appt and for TDM1 is for the 3rd. I kept telling myself to wait until then for the results but I just can't stop myself. I always ask them to call me with the preliminary. Praying for all of us, all the time.
