Burzynski indy film Cancer is serious business II
 

I am not endorsing this film or Dr. Burzynski. I just saw that the movie is being shown in San Luis Obispo on March 10, 2013. I read a review and was intrigued. I then searched our site and see that others on the site have discussed this guy. His research and conflict with the FDA probably makes him suspect. However, as "Hutch" posted a few years ago....she too was intrigued by "suspect" research. Maybe one day suspect research will find a cure for cancer. Just hoping!

Hi Catherine,
I was drawn to Dr. Burzynski's practice. I watched the documentary, testimonials, remained objective throughout. I decided to go see him, so I asked them to send all appropriate materials.
Brother, was I disappointed. There was NOTHING SPECIFIC in the data sent to me. There were a lot of typos in the package meant to lead you in (I feel professionals would hire an editor or engage a company for their advertising). I got turned off.
Inside, there were no specifics: columns included partial response, which it seemed everyone had. That's about it. I wanted to believe...
I suppose if he really had something going on, everyone would be beating down the door, not that he couldn't have something going on in his lab. I have been told that my center tried working with him over a decade ago and that relationship was a dismal failure. I am also very suspicious of agencies and authority, and I started out on his side.

Karen, Thanks for your response and description. I am lazy at investigating subjects, so it is nice to hear from someone who knows about this particular person. Since I am one of the fortunate people that is not dealing with a recurrence, I am lackidaisycal (sp) about keeping up with current research. So enough said about this guy. Wishing you all the best,
