I'm sorry I didn't join this forum sooner. I took care of my mom, diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer, until her death 18 months later. I identified with so much of what you posted...I wish I had been here to support you. Your mom is at peace, I hope you have been able to reclaim yours too. Two years later, I still think of my mom every single day...but now I can laugh, or smile sometimes...I don't always feel like crying when I remember her. God bless you for all you did, to make her last days peaceful! Denise |
