Thought provoking...
I remember when I went in for my 1st (and subsequent) surgeries, as I was wheeled in on the stretcher, I could see my surgeon at the side table, hands folded, saying a prayer...at that point, I felt at ease with whatever the outcome. Take care and God bless.

Rhonda, I had a very similar thing happen with my surgeon. He actually prayed with me. I felt so much more confident and safe in his hands. You and your family have a blessed Christmas. Mary L

I asked my surgeon if we could say a prayer before my operation and she said she always did. It IS comforting to have a Higher Power in the room!

Prayer certainly helps no matter what religion one is praying in. God hears all prayers.
