Ryder is amazing
Have to update that I am loving motherhood. No disrespect to my husband, but I have found my one true love. It is going to be heart breaking but I am going back to work on the 23rd. Husband (david) is going to be a stay at home dad. He will do an okay job. We fight all day about who gets to hold the baby now. I am sure next week I will come home to a dirty house and a dirty diaper but rest assured Ryder will be fed and held all day long. Everyone needs to sign up onto Facebook so we can share more pics. Here are a couple.

Laurie,
Ryder is adorable! What a blessing. Joan |
Such a cute little man! I can see why you are having a hard time leaving him. Do you sit by his crib and watch him sleep? That's what I did with my newborns; just couldn't get enough of them.
Now the boys are 9 & 13 and I flop down on the couch as soon as they go to bed. Phew. But before I go to bed, I pop into their rooms and watch them sleep. Such a peaceful sight! Wishing you many, many years of watching Ryder grow into a wonderful person. Hug the little man for me! Jacqueline |
Laurie, what an adorable little guy you have there! I am so happy for you and your whole family!!

Hi Laurie,
Thanks for sharing the pictures of Ryder. With a 13 & almost 12-year-old, it's been a while since I've held a little one. My cousin and his wife are visiting with their 3 month-old. Everyone wanted a turn holding baby Timon. It got so bad we finally had to set a timer :-) take care, |
Nothing compares to the sweetness of a baby. Thanks for sharing!

Dear Laurie
I am sure your first day back at work was really, really hard. I remember those days. The best part for you is that Ryder's Daddy is watching him versus a daycare center or a private provider that you really don't know well. At least you can relax and know he is loved and well cared for. NOT the same as you but right up there at the very top of the caregiver list. Keep smiling. Everyday gets better even though its so hard to leave the little ones at home. Trust me - he knows you and you will see how much he misses you when you see his little face when you get home. Hugs to you on the hardest day. |
