Re: Early study hints that (HER2+) vaccine might work
Ladies,
This is the vaccine that SandraGA is receiving. I am very encouraged by the news, but we still have a long way to go before approval. You need to enroll in the trial within 6 months of finishing Herceptin or primary treatment. Most need to travel to participate, but insurance may cover the costs. I strongly encourage participation in the vaccine trials. We are transitioning from the slash/poison/burn mentality to a focus on prevention. I am sure after all our experiences with cancer treatment that we collectively do not want another to suffer through what we experienced. |

Lots of vaccine trials going on. Ask your oncologist if there are any near you.

This is the study that I am on in San Antonio! It is been fairly easy to complete. I. Have finished the vaccines and next week i have the skin test response. If you can, go for it, I'll take all the help I can get to keep Her 2 away.
