Is anyone seeing a pattern here???

It sure seems to me that I am reading more and more hopeful posts of ladies seeing tumor shrinkage or becoming NED. I HOPE this is the future for us. I think it sure could be .........if only the drug companies would make TDM-1, and Pertuz. avaliable to all of us.

I am thrilled for those who are getting these drugs; there are many of us that are not able to, and we are relying on the drug companies to HURRY!!! We'd like to get these drugs too, so we too can see some good results!!

Here's to lots more hopeful news in the future! So, so happy for all that are getting hopeful news right now!

The future looks exciting!

Agreed. I feel more convinced every time I log in here lately that I, too, can be a long-term survivor. Can't wait for these drugs to be available to everyone. All these good news posts are certainly a cause for celebration. As was said in another thread, a victory for one of us is a victory for all of us.

Yes, I'm starting to see more options, and more good news. The agonizing part is to get there we've got to join clinical trials and its a crap shoot to get the latest treatments.

I'm so happy that pertuzumaub is approved for metastic treatment.

But the approval for TDM1 and other treatments that lead us to NED are years out, and only after progression and suffering through toxic chemotherapies.

The logic seems to escape me, but I'm disappointed there aren't more trials for primary breast cancer.

I've seen how many chemotherapies the Stage IV ladies have suffered with.

I can't wait until more targeted treatments are used with primary treatment, and even before - so no one has to go through what the stage IV survivors suffer with.

Yes, there is much good news and results going beyond what we saw even a short time ago. There is much to celebrate and still much to fight for.
