Breast Reconstruction, lipotransfer
 

I keep checking from time to time to see if anyone is using the lipotransfer method of breast reconstruction.

Like Suzanne Sommers did.

I was hoping in a few years that I might use it to enlarge the reconstruction before I reduce & lift the other side.

Anyone try it yet?

I am not sure if I am answering your question but my plastic surgeon lipotransfered fat from my stomach to my breast area during reconstruction. This was in addition to the breast implants and the Alloderm top and bottom of my breast. He said the fat transfer fills in needed breast tissue. The result is I have very round, perky breasts. My stomach is still sore from the liposuction and it was bruised for quite a while after the procedure. I did not ask for this technique, it is just part of what he does to achieve a good cosmetic result.

Sounds like you are happy with the reconstruction. Which plastic surgeon did you use?
