My wife is taking xeloda and tykerb today she had swollen ankles. Has anyone experienced this

Hema had slight swelling initially. It went off later

Swelling can occur with these two drugs, usually it is remedied with as much exercise as can be tolerated, with walking being the best. The drugs can cause microcapillary leakage as well. Try Biofreeze to try and keep the lymphadema down. Nina never went fully for the compression stockings, but we used them intially.

I have been on this combination for 4 months and not had this as a side effect.

I have been on this combo for almost 4 months now. My se are
Limited to cracks, once a week diarrhea, mild rash on face, low energy from the 2nd week. I think swelling is a common se from this combo as my Onco
Asks if I have any swelling at every visit.
