13 years!!!
It has been a long time since I have checked in. June 14th marked 13 years NED. I still think about cancer, every day at some time or another it crosses my mind. I fought hard for this!!! There were days I didn't think I had the strength to do it. So much has happened since that day in June, 2005...good and bad. Life happens!! No matter what I am faced with I have survived a very grim prognosis and it helps to put everything else in perspective. Life is fragile, delicate, uncertain...every day is special!!
I wish for you all, dear her2 family, the best day ever!! |
Re: 13 years!!!
Congratulations Susan. Wonderful to not be fighting cancer although CIU really sounds like a challenge. We'll all do the happy dance with you!!

Re: 13 years!!!
Wonderful news, Susan! I think it is important for those of use who have been survivors for many years to share this good news for the newbies, especially. It brought much hope to me when I was first diagnosed to know that there were so many long term survivors.
all the best caya |

Good to hear from you! May you stay on this same road of health, and may life happen in good ways. Are you still enjoying Florida?
