Help! drugs, radiation for mets Spine Please

Met with oncology and response back from Neurosurgeon, they are going to have a conversation about mt T-8-9 lesion that has grown, and has fluid around it again. Getting IT Herceptin 100mg per week via Omaya. Need possibly another her 2 antagonist that crosses Blood Brain Barrier. Also take Tykerb 750 daily. Failed Navelbine due to its side effects and left shift in the blood work. I know people were talking about Topotecan, but I can not find any trials or info that validated the use of it Intrathecal. Neuro wise I am so so but getting a little more symptomatic again. I had rads to the T-3-4 and T-8-9 for total of 4050cGY so do not think anymore. The last MRI showed of the T3 lesion it was not measurable. It took me over a year to start IT herceptin, and without lots of data out there trying to get anything else approved either IT or off label, is probably a no go.

Treatment options are right now continue on current therapy, and finding another drug, Neuro offered to do surgery, previously but the risk of paralysis is very high, as well as the herceptin not getting rid of it.

Thanks to all, Merry Christmas
Prayers for our families of Our Angels, and healings and Peace for the rest of us as some of us morn the loss of our love ones and face this unasked for journey in our lives.

Hi Darita, sorry I can't add any information, but please know that I'm thinking and hoping that you get a good result very soon.
Cheers Marie
