The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved a new drug Verzenio (abemaciclib) for the treatment of advanced or metastatic hormone receptor (HR)-positive, human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2)-negative breast cancer.

I looked the drug up hoping it was a major advance. From what I can determine it is Ibrance made by a different drug company. It works as a CDK/46 inhibitor (like Ibrance ie Palbociclib) and you comvine it with lerozole. I cant say but maybe it will be more effective than Ibrance.
