Anyone on Gemzar, Herceptin and Perjeta?
 

After having Stage III breast cancer in 2007 (hormone positive, HER2 negative); I was diagnosed Stage IV (hormone negative, HER2 borderline positive) in August 2014. I finished six rounds of TCH (Perjeta added the last 2) in December 2014 with limited positive response. Stayed on Herceptin and Perjeta every three weeks. The last PET showed progression.

I just started Gemzar (on 2 weeks, off 1 week) along with continuing the Herceptin and Perjeta every 3 weeks.

Is anyone on this combination? Can you share your experience?

I am. It's quite tolerable. I was on 1400 mg. with 420 Herceptin and 420 Perjeta. Then upped to 1700 mg. My bloods are great and I find it quite easy. Some have not. You can PM me. I only check in from time to time. So busy!
