Mineral Make-up

I bought some finally just to try it (Loreal makes one now... I kept putting off buying it from the TV) and I just have to say, I love it so far! I've used it for 4 days, out in the heat and weather, sweating, etc and I am impressed. I was skeptical that it wouldn't cover my lifelong dark circles, and I was wrong. It works great! Also, I got lots of compliments about how good I looked. And that doesn't suck. LOL.

Brenda, does the mineral make-up come as foundation or blush or both? I need all the help I can get as I looke so tired all the time even though I am getting plenty of rest (dark circles) and very pale. I will have to try some, as I have seen it advertised also. I was reading your history at the bottom of your post, thats great that your brain mets are shrinking. Did you have any symptoms when they were found? I never know when I tell my onc about new symptoms, sometimes I think I am just paranoid. Having alot of sinus problems that I never had before.

In the Loreal mineral make-up, I bought a concealer (which works great for my dark circles), a foundation, a blush, and a finishing veil. Each sold seperately. I love it so far. I had no symptoms of brain mets at all. We found them on a screening MRI. I also had sinus issues and drippy nose in my Taxol, Herceptin days... but they cleared up when I stopped. Always tell the onc about new symptoms, they will (should) know what to follow-up on and what is normal due to treatment...

Brenda, thanks for the advice and I think I will try the mineral make-up. I need a fresh look anyway!

My better half just came home today from a business trip and noticed that my make-up looked better, fresher and said that he didn't notice my circles hardly at all! Now that is quite a testimony for the power of the mineral make-up I would say...

I love mineral makeup

I've used it for years in very small amounts and I love it. I'm so happy others are finding the benefits, too especially under our circumstances-we gotta stay beautiful, girls!!!! It costs a lot of money to get the natural look!
