Comma-tose

Oh you guys - just read the "Help stop no more commas" thread - don't know how I (me of all people!) completely missed that one but it's so clever and funny and I just laughed a giant belly laugh out loud and am still cracking up.

Really funny - especially the post by Bill about the box of commas. I just had not idea that this two pages of comma-dee existed. I love it-love it-love it!

Flori

Bill 02-21-2008 09:51 PM

Hahahahahh "comma-dee", I love you,,,,,,Flori! still laughing,,,,,,,Bill

hutchibk 02-21-2008 10:51 PM

We are a cool bunch of comma-dians, aren't we?

Sheila 02-22-2008 05:28 AM

When I read the post the first time, I was jacked up on Bendryl and Decadron....kind of a combo between uppers and downers I would say...I would call it my comma~tose stage.....and I still laughed until I hurt...it shows we can have a great time with just words and brains! What great comma~raudery

PinkGirl 02-22-2008 02:18 PM

So we are a sometimes comma-tose group
of comma-ic comma-rades. May I add comma-passionate?

hutchibk 02-22-2008 05:10 PM

And we often comma-iserate over our shared comma-on experiences... I comma here because I am comma-mitted to my Her2 family. It's a comma-fortable place to talk about how to comma-bat this pesky disease. OK, I am starting to talka like-a Borat, so I thinka I need to stop.

I think I see a resemblence (sp?), especially to Sassy's offer, although I admit one is reversed.
Love & hugs,
Marlys
P.S. 27 years since last drink but damage remains!!

Starting To See Commas Everywhere...

Hey PINKIE,

The one on the right looks like a turtle to me...

MARYLS, Good one. Elephant trunks really do look like commas. I did have a glass of wine last night, but I still think that today.

Thank you Flori for bringing to our attention
how important the common comma really is.
I never knew this before.

I found these gingerbread commas.

I just couldn't help it after seeing PinkGirl's gingerbread comma! My first thought was that they were shrimp.
Love & hugs,
Marlys

PinkGirl 02-27-2008 10:36 AM

Okay Marlys - you're on.
I'll be spending my day looking for commas.
May the best mind (alcoholic/chocolate) win :)

SoCalGal 02-27-2008 10:58 AM

Totally thought they were shrimp. Especially after Sushi last night. LOL.

Marlys 02-27-2008 11:04 AM

Can't start working on it til this afternoon. I have to go to a meeting.
Loce & hugs,
Marlys

Good one Believe - the comman speech bubble.
Who's next?

Believe51 02-27-2008 01:31 PM

I cannot stop laughing today PinkGirl

I am all alone in my office and actually laughing out loud all by my lonesome. This thread has got me going and I am going to have to get creative, until then....

Bill 02-27-2008 05:06 PM

I got nothin', Pinkie, you are the Master (or is it Mistress?). I loved the commakazi pilots!

PinkGirl 02-27-2008 05:31 PM

Thanks Bill. Here's one of the comman curly-
tailed dog.

I give up!!

I can no longer commamit to this quest.
Love & hugs,
Marlys

PinkGirl 02-28-2008 08:46 AM

Hey Marlys
That's okay. Maybe one will comma to you
in the middle of the night - maybe you will
dream of commas. I, of course, have more
because of my strange, warped sense of
humour. Does this mean that chocolate causes
more brain damage than alcohol does?
Who knew?

This one is a sperm. The comman sperm.

I HAVE HAD MY EYES OPEN BY THIS LINE OF THINKING ABOUT COMMAS. I was peering into my pantry when all of a sudden I saw an entire box of COMMAS! The sight of a box of Ronzoni's -- Elbow Macaroni -- made me laugh out loud...

Wishing y'all smiles all day. Open your minds to the appearance of commas in your life...

Sheila 02-28-2008 02:43 PM

Hey Pink Girl
Could you draw those comma eyebrows on me...mine left and have never come back.........must be the commachemo causing me to have no comma sense
Oh well, one chocolate marty as I call them and off to read comma sutra.....whoops, I meant the paper.

PinkGirl 02-28-2008 02:48 PM

Sheila,
Have you looked around for them? They
might be somewhere else on your body :)

Believe51 02-28-2008 07:10 PM

Flori Are You Reading All This Craziness??

'cause I cannot stop laughing at this thread. Comman and help me out here girlfriend and I'll give you a treat to go with your next sushi adventure....Believe51

SoCalGal 02-28-2008 07:44 PM

Yes - reading and laughing

and also laughing aloud. I am not (just for the record) seeing commas everywhere. LOL.

SoCalGal 02-28-2008 07:46 PM

Ps

Hey Pink Girl-
Love-love-love your photo! Nice to see your "shaynah punim" as my mom would have said (pretty face in Yiddish). Also want to mention that you are the youngest looking 51 year old I've ever seen! What's your secret?
xo Flori

PinkGirl 02-28-2008 10:01 PM

Thank you very much Flori.
I comma by it honestly - it's genetic - from my mother.

Love the fortune cookie Believe...I didn't
think of that one.

Here's mine for this evening - comman
weather map storm clouds.

Comma-ndation Award

Pink Girl,
You Rock. Your picture is absolutely comma-ndable. whatever that means !! Seriously. it really is beautiful.
Love & hugs,
Marlys

PinkGirl 02-29-2008 09:13 AM

Thanks very much Marlys.

Did you dream about commas?
I know you will comma up with one soon.

Here's mine for today - I am going to
limit myself to one comma per day (maybe)

The comman comma cake pan - I know everyone
has one.

Attachment 347

Andrea Barnett Budin 02-29-2008 11:55 AM

WOULD IT BE IMPOLITE FOR ME TO SAY -- Pinkie that pan looks like the one they gave me in the hospital (in case I barfed). I'm just saying...

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your pretty picture, Pink. Ya know -- your right dimple looks a bit like a comma!

Believe51 02-29-2008 12:05 PM

Andi, Andi, Andi....

Even when I looked at this I thought the same thing until I said to myself..."it is just comma-n sense"!! LOL!!>>Chuckling Not Chucking>>Believe51

PinkGirl 02-29-2008 01:14 PM

Andi,
I also thought this of the pan. However, it
really is a comma cake pan. I imagine you
could use it as a hospital barf bowl ... I'm
just saying ... You are bad! ;)

Andrea Barnett Budin 02-29-2008 01:35 PM

So, Pink, are you saying you actually bake cakes in that comma pan? Comma cakes? I don't think I've ever seen one. Very creative. So not comman. Yuck. Yuck.
HEY LOOK. UP IN THE SKY. A CRESCENT MOON. One awesome comma!

Andi http://www.moonsighting.com/photos/1428sfr021807-1.jpg

Thanks Marie for making me feel sane...

Believe51 02-29-2008 01:53 PM

Help

I had a picture of an comman outhouse that you could use when you have the comman flu. I did research and found out that the cresent moon is for ventilation purposes but I deleted the picture. Sometimes I use no comma-n sense when I do things!!

this was second posting after picture I removed:
The picture of the outhouse is copyrighted and did not warn me it was, how do I remove it??>>Believe51

PinkGirl 02-29-2008 07:54 PM

Very nice comman crescent moon Andi.

I decided to do some research on the comman
comma cake pan. I have learned that you can
purchase them in a set of different sizes and they are
used to make wedding cakes. Who knew?
