Re: Bleeding from Good Breast
I had a papilloma. It appeared as a "suspicious" area on an ultrasound with its own circulatory system! We did an ultrasound guided biopsy. (5 samples) All came back as Papilloma. They kept asking me if I had any bleeding from the nipple. I did not which puzzled them. However, the biopsy was conclusive. Apparently they have a very specific pathology which made it easy to determine. The samples taken were very small and the procedure EASY in comparison to the stereotactic biopsies I have had.
So, yes, bleeding can be from a papilloma and in and of themselves they are harmless. Hoping it is good news for you! |

Re: Bleeding from Good Breast
Thank you ladies for all the positive thoughts and messages! I am ready to go for tomorrow, just want to get it over with and hopefully be the final surgery in my journey!
Love to all :) |
Re: Bleeding from Good Breast
Hello ladies! Procedure done, at home healing although I have no pain at all and feel fantastic! Surgery was fast and smooth and surgeon feels confident it was a papilloma. Have the biopsy results coming back tomorrow but I'm not worried. Glad it's over and on to my next adventure - hopefully seeing all of you on our retreat in August!

Huge sigh of relief. I am glad surgery wasn't to awful and you are feeling well. Try not to over do it, get plenty of rest. Much love.
