I am sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. What a gift you were to her and being with her these last few days must have been of great comfort to her. What a lucky woman to be surrounded by loving family members.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss, Sheila. As if you don't have enough pain in your life! I was a young mother myself when I lost my mom, and as I told another Tricia,my greatest healing took place when I wrote and published a little picture book of her family and her life for my grandchildren. I know you have a lot going on right now as you fight BC yourself, but perhaps gathering letters and pictures of your mother and her life for such a book or a scrapbook may be also be healing for you in time. I always watch for your posts, and you are in my thoughts and prayers. TriciaK

Just read your post and my heart goes out to you.
The hardest days I ever experienced was when my mother died. Like you I was with her day and night.
This will help in the coming months - to know that you shared a wonderful love and realtionship with your Mother. Sending you strength and peace and much love.

Sheila, I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my Mom at 74 and it is so true, you are never ready to lose your Mom. I miss her every single day and I am so sad she didn't live to see my children's many accomplishments and to see her great grandaughter. My most sincere condolences.
