Ladies,

They did figure out what was causing the rash all over my body. It was the heparin that they use for the port. You may want to ask them to test you for a HIT. I had that first and then my numbers were better and they started me on it again. Rash got a lot worse.

Allergic reaction to heparin is very rare, but worth a try. I'm no longer taking it, no rash, and have two more treatments of herceptin to go.

I have finished my Herceptin 3 months ago but am still getting a rash. Has anyone else had rashes afterwards? How long do they last for?
None of the specialists know where I am.
