Re: TCH Revisited
Lizely Your Port type made me laugh.
I chose not to have pot either, but my chemo buddy got some from her son. |
Re: TCH Revisited
Hi,
I finished my TCH in April 2011. I had 6 rounds, and had my infusion on Thursdays. I did not miss any work, was able to access wireless from the chemo room and worked from home on Friday. I noticed after Round 4 it was a bit rougher. I had Nuelasta shots after every treatment which caused bone and muscle pain, but Norco pills took care of that pain. My legs began to feel like concrete, but I continued to take 1 mile walks but had to stop 4 or 5 times during the walk due to concrete legs. About 2 months after chemo ended, I did experience numbness in my toes on both feet. I still have numbness in both sets of toes, but it seems to have lessened a bit. |
Re: TCH Revisited
I had my 4th round on Monday. This has been the worst ever. I spent the last three days in bed unable to do anything at all or in the bathroom throwing up. I really thought I was a lot tougher than this, but I am completely weak, exhausted, feeble, and unable to think about food. I know I will start to feel better in a day or so, but will I have the strength to teach my high school students next week? I don't know how you guys all got through six rounds of this stuff, I think I'm being a big baby.
