Please tell Ed that I am pulling for him, and that I believe, with certanity, that he WILL beat this. In my 42 short years, I don't believe that I've ever seen two people more determined or more stronger than you guys are.

Thanks Doug, although I have bonded with many glorious people here, our bond is uniquely special. We have tried to remain as proactive with this disease as possible. I look at the list I have written from research gathered for backup in case we needed it and new research added from our family here because we did. So many things are a shot in the dark, some come with dangerous repercussions, some methods not commonly used in the breast cancer world. Yet I sit here with hope that burns as strongly as our desire to conquer. We shall rise above this terrible beast once more, even if that means it takes his body, instead of his brain.

I am curious about the Ixempra and the paths that it is leading those who are seeking its magic. I believe Doug, with all my soul that we must stand stronger than ever and stare down cancer. We do this not just for ourselves but for all of you and for others who are inflicted and desperate! We are soon to walk paths that not many have and probally choose drugs that are not the standard. Chances are that whatever rare treatment or strange combination he choses, we will be in uncharted waters.

Being in uncharted waters does not scare me half as much as losing faith or hope. Our hearts shall serve as our compass, our faith will keep us afloat. The ship is about to sail and as we jump into the cold water and return up for air just remember this Dear Friend......
