Re: thought you would like to read this--REAL HOPE OF A CURE
I am not scientifically-inclined and the link posted looked like material I, for one, cannot understand. I do have a feeling about this, though.

Re: thought you would like to read this--REAL HOPE OF A CURE
The researchers have identifies two new 'pathways' and are conducting clinical trials.
Did you read the link Chelee posted of the article that Lani mentioned? http://jco.ascopubs.org/content/28/7/1091.full |
Re: thought you would like to read this--REAL HOPE OF A CURE
Thank you so much for this valuable information. Here in Canada we seem to have very few trials and certainly not even TDM1. Without you, I would be in the dark about what is available to me just in a few hours drive across the border.
There is HOPE. Time to celebrate! |

Re: thought you would like to read this--REAL HOPE OF A CURE
Hello CourtneyL and others,
I was looking for any posts on Arry 380 and found Courtney's. I'm in the 5th week of the clinical trial of this new drug (given with Herceptin too). I'll be finding out next week if there's been good results - hope so! I go to Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, MA (I live in Colorado and fly there for treatment). I'm starting to get a handle on side effects (diarrhea, fatigue, digestion issues) ... not too bad. Lost a lot of weight from diarrhea, but learning how to better take Lomotil. I am the 3rd participant (was a total of 3 last visit - ha) and I'm hoping for more participants so I can someday see how others are doing. Would love to see more comments on this trial. Cheers to my cancer buddies, Ann L |
Re: thought you would like to read this--REAL HOPE OF A CURE
I think I saw it on the presenter schedule at the San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium next week.
