my wife was diagnosed with stage 3 dec 2010. Feb 2012 they found brain mets. completed 15 rounds of wbr. the first scan showed a reduction between 30 to 70 percent of all lesions. Two months later they start growing again. she is starting chemo tom xeloda and tykerb and will stay with herceptin every 3 weeks. does anyone have a similar story? are there any good survival stories with brain mets that I can show my wife. she is losing hope slowly and we have 3 little children and we are very afraid.
