Drink 1 quart of water after taking dose of tykerb. This I believe flushes Meds out. I am only up to taking 2 pills. I take a glass or two of water before taking
tykerb. Then take the rest after taking pills or any way you can get max water in you. Drink as much as you can.

This will flush liver and kidneys and bladder and stomach and get rid of the pills faster with less side effects. I got approval from do cot and research nurse.

I stopped eating alot of chesse and it helped. Try to get out of the house every day if well enough. Try to drink as much as possible. 3 quart if possible or more. Two quarts if you cant drink 3 quarts drink 2 quarts.

Called tykerb cares and they it was probably okay to drink the water since the half life of the drug is twenty four hours. I think they said that. Chemonbrain....

I noticed not too take the tykerb with club soda. I guess it is obvious. The bubbling may break down the pill too fast and give you a tummy ache.

I also take cranberry and probotics pills everyday for the tummy and bladder. If I don't take the cranberry pills I feel like I am going to have a bladder infection.

Take on an EMPTY stomach. No need to drink an excessive amount of water. You may eat after one hour. Drink normally throughout. I started slowly - one week at 2 pills, then one week at 3 pills and so on until I was on (5)pills a day. I used to take mine first thing with my morning coffee. Many take theirs LAST thing at night - 3 hours after eating. Hope you find the right way for you!

I stopped drinking so much water. I do try to drink like a glass of water with the tykerb now.
