Dear Anne,
I take shots of B-12 once a month, and have been on Herceptin since 2003.
I also take Omega3 - , 1000mg each 2 a day.
Oil evening primrose - 500 mg 2 a day.
One of the nurses at the hospital said that the Omegas keep our bodies lubricated and working all those joints and what not. SHe compared it to the oil we put in our cars that keeps them running.
I have enough energy during the day (most of the time), to do whatever needs to be done around the house, such a paying bills, cooking meals for the family, walking with the dogs, etc. I don't do cleaning, laundry or other- I have daily help for those chores.
There was an article some time ago about women and chemo, and it says it was beneficial for women like us to pack on B's --all of them.
As usual, you must first check with your doc.
Take care,
Adriana

Just one of a number of instances where B12 supplementation has been called into question:

Worth noting some combination supplements have significant amounts of B12.
