My scans are over ~ COMPLETE REMISSION!!!!!!!! Wahoo!!!! My onc had to call the radiologist because there was a note of a "fatty liver" but the radiologist went over the scans again with my onc and me on the phone, he said nope he sees nothing. Since I have had 8 PET scans with NED, I don't have to see my onc for another 6 months!!! That is truly exciting for me.... I still have to have brain MRI's every 3 months and follow up with my rad onc. Just wanted to share!

My onc also said there is A LOT of great things coming out of the symposium next month here in San Antonio especially for Her2+. When asked if there will be other meds for me in the future if I needed it, he said "oh yeah baby!". I told him he will get a christmas card this year since I like him today!

I was diagnosed with IIIC ER-/PR-/HER2+++ 01/08, did chemo/radiation then 02/17/09 diagnosed with a solitary 7mm brain met. Had cyberknife 02/26/09 and been NED in the head since then as well.

That is absolutely wonderful news. After twenty years, my oncologist released me (Not Her2 bc). I thought we'd be together forever! Here's hoping that someday your Doc will decide you don't need to be seen at all! Since my sis was diagnosed, I come here regulary, where it is such an encouragement to find someone with good news! Now, do something to celebrate!
