Hi Friends, Looks like I am in for a change in chemo as my lung met has gotten larger over the last 6 months. I think my onc knows what he wants to do as his said there are other treatment options. Not sure if he will switch both drugs or just xeloda which I have been on for 3 years now. The tykerb only one year with the full 5 tablets since around May. Any ideas about what he might follow up with. So far, have had herceptin, taxotere and navelbine with the xeloda at first. thanks Ceesun

Ceesun,
Sorry to hear about your lung node reappearing. I know that a wedge resection or radiofrequency ablation to get rid of this one stubborn met that's been hounding you is not an option, as we discussed a while ago.
Besides another chemo, what about adding Herceptin back in as suggested? Herceptin and Tykerb are supposed to work well together.
Joan
