View Full Version : Tumor Markers Down! with an old treatment!!!

Well, this 3rd recurrence has been a scary one. So when my oncologist decided to put me on a treatment I had when I was first dx stage 4, I was a little skeptical after he told me that I probably only had a 25% chance of it working... I initially asked him about trying it again because I did so well with it the first time. It made all the liver mets and bone mets disappear on pet within 3 months! The only thing that was changed was that he used Abraxane instead of Taxol, which is pretty much the same thing. So anyway, I started it at the beginning of January - my tumor marker was 136. After 1 month, it went to 129. So I wasn't sure if it was going to go up or down this month. But low and behold, it went to 78! I am so thrilled, just thought I would share it.

Consider regular trips to an Indian restaurant or Curcumin supps to reign in the effects of Taxol (possibly Abraxane) met dissemination.
