Low Albumin?

Hi there,
Today I asked my onc. office to send me my most recent labs (last week) and I noticed that my albumin level was 3.1 (normal range is 3.5 to...). I don't see onc. until 2/3. When I did a search for 'low albumin" , liver disease is the first I find. What should I do? See PC or wait to see onc? My onc. won't be in office til next Wednesday.
Any suggestions? Thank you!

Is the reading that much different than the reading before? I have many reading that are just above or below the normal. They are normal for me. Sometimes just in the normal range and sometimes just out of the normal range.

Thanks for your reply. My levels have always been between 3.5-3.8. What do you think? The normal range has such small range..I think 3.5 to 4.7?? Is 3.1 still in the "normal" range?
