Good Morning, I am Believe51's mom and newly diagnosed. Not very effiecient on the computer so I will try to get better. I also do not write as well as her but no one talks that much, although she has let me know she has her competition here. She holds you all dear to her heart and follows all of your journies, I do not know how. Thank you so far for all of the advice. Between Ed, her and this site I know I am in great hands. Love and Hope<<'LilAcorn

PS: She gave me the name 'LilAcorn because I said I want to follow my biggest hero, the best Son-in-Law ever, The Mighty Oak himself!!

Hi Little Acorn

I am sure you have heard a lot about this Board and the
wonderful support that is given to all of it's members.
Believe does have some competition for "lengthy" messages,
but I would put her in the Top 2. :)

Welcome and good luck with your journey.

Looks like you will have an easy time remebering your diagnosis date! I'm so sorry to hear of the diagnosis but very glad that you have helping hands nearby and here in cyberspace for sharing, hoping and praying. I hope that your MRI went smoothly and that you are armed better for all the decisions you have ahead of you. Nothing but well wishes for you, your son-in-law and daughter.

Hi 'Lil Acorn. I feel your the Spirit, and that of your Marie, and not to mix metaphors but the apple does not fall far from the tree. I have even heard your voice and I thought I was talking to BELIEVE. So w/her and Ed and all of us, your newfound Sisters, in your corner -- you will soon be a success story. So sorry you have to go through this ordeal. Wish you could have skipped this experience in Life. Somehow for some reason, you are walking this path w/Ed. I just have this KNOWING that because of that, you will both come out holding hands and smiling -- triumphant and dancing with NED, together.

I will make this especially brief, as I dare say Pinkie was referring to me in her post above about chattiness. So much to say... Yet Marie and I manage to have a great give and take conversation, listening, hearing and sharing messages that we were meant to bring to one another. I love her, and by extension, I love you...

Well, I sure admire your daughter and the mighty oak! Be advised, your daughter is not alone - I love to talk too -and tend to write as I talk --- in a rambling style! One of my friends said recently - I love getting email from you - I feel like I've actually had a conversation with you not just a note in the post. :-) So, don't worry she has others here that love to share too!

Glad you joined us - but wish it was for other reasons - and not because you joined our band of cancer flag bearers!

And, I think the site is addicting too - so be warned. I hate to miss a day reading and sharing with the others.

I'm going on vacation the end of the week and without interent - ugh! How will I manage!?

:-)

Welcome aboard!
Karen
