Sadly wanted to let you know that Dina passed away on Monday. She was a columnist for The Guardian newspaper here in the UK and has been writing a compelling column about her experiences of Her2 BC for the past 3 years http://books.guardian.co.uk/extracts/story/0,,2202243,00.html. Her columns have been brought together in a book- Take off your Party Dress.

I know she posted here, as well as writing her own blog, www.takeoffyourrunningshoes.typepad.com (http://www.takeoffyourrunningshoes.typepad.com) so thought you would like to know. Very sad,

Karen

I just went through some of Dina's previous posts and her blog... she was really witty !
I am so sorry to hear of her passing. I hope her family knows that their loss is our loss also.

Karen, thanks for bringing this to our attention. I spent some time reading her column/blog and she was an amazing writer. She was very honest in her observations and a very brave woman.

I just read her blog and the obituary. So sad to lose another sister, another young mother leaving children who need her.

I hate this disease.

So young, so very sad with small children, but she seemed as though she controlled and took things in stride... she is definately looking over us all...there must be quite a party in heaven with all the special people who were taken this year.

I just got her book from Amazon UK about 6 months ago. This is so heartbreaking.
