Something I heard when I got my haircut today...

my stylist said that she was learning a technique for a local program for people that would be starting chemo, they can have their hair cut prior to starting chemo, get a "loaner wig" that looks like their own hair and have their hair harvested into a wig out of their own hair to wear during chemo and she said the cost was reasonable. Interesting.

Cool! Although I pray I never have to walk the chemo road again, IF I do (and that's a big IF) that would be the way to go.

Rhonda - can you give me a way to contact your stylist (email preferred) and maybe she can tell me how to reach the company that makes the wigs, or someone who would know more about it? Being a stylist myself, I would love to know more about this. It is something I have imagined should be possible for a long time, but never knew how to make it happen! The link doesn't really offer any info, just a picture from what I can tell. Thanks!
