nodes in neck

Wondering if anyone has had mets to the lymph nodes in the neck? I work for a family practice doctor and showed him a lump I have had in my neck for two months which seems to be getting larger. He told me it was a lymph node and needed to be biopsied . I am scheduled to see my onc and have a herceptin treatment on Tuesday and have opted to wait until then. My question is if this is a met does that mean the herceptin is no longer working and how would this be treated? Would appreciate any feedback from anyone this has happened to.

I have mets to the nodes in my neck, as do a few others on this site. Mine was identified through surgical biopsy, and was my breast cancer identical! I have been on Herceptin since (4 years now) and have added other chemos along the way as you can see at the bottom of my page....

I'm going to pray tonigh that those nodes disapear with out explanation.....
