Hi friends!
I was at the age of 40 when I was diagnosed in May of 2001 with stage 3 aggressive cancer, but still here to talk about it!! :o
I just began treatment with the combination of tykerb/xeloda, I take 5 tabs of tykerb 1 hour before OR 1 hour after breakfast, then take 3 tabs of xeloda 30 mins after breakfast....I keep a journal to record all this or I'd mess it up for sure!

My problem is having terrible lower back pain along with the common side effects of diarrhea, dry itchy skin, upset tummy, etc.http://her2support.org/vbulletin/images/icons/icon6.gif
I also take a large quantity of morphine sulfate, (180 mg) 3X's a day for pain in my L shoulder due to mestastasized cancer in 2004. Since that point it has spread further into my tummy. So, I say every day is a joy to be alive!!
