Joe, What perfect timing for you to post this. My Mother recently was DX with advanced lung cancer which was bad enough...but just last Thrusday the MRI shows brain mets. They decided on WBR for the two small lesions.

I just started researching all info on WBR and all types of trt for brain mets. Its not something I've spent alot of time on yet. But that article you posted is very interesting and it sounds more positive then what I've read so far. Thanks so much.

thanks so much for this article! It is just the reassurance that I need RIGHT NOW! We are putting WBR on the back burner for my two 9mm and one punctuated brain mets in favor of LINAC! Yippee.

Joe, My Mom is 76 years old & doesn't understand any of this. My brother has been taking her to see her onc since I have been recovering from surgeries. I am going to call my Mother to let her know about this. This is something we need to look into & consider after reading that. I'd like to go with her this next time and talk to her onc myself. I am so glad you posted this...your timing was right on the money. Thanks so much to keeping us to updated and current!
