strange that you mention that as I have the SAME feeling in the SAME area of my back...not a pain, just what you mentioned, though I've attributed it to shovelling snow (which I love to do) and much of it being wet and heavy...this is freaky. Keep us posted what you find out.

PS...I had my gall bladder removed 2001

Have they ruled out shingles? This can happen especially after chemo or radiation when the immune system is down. I am hoping it is just a strain of sorts that will resolve in a week or so.

Sheila - My sister mentioned the same thing, however, would I have these symptoms for 2 months with shingles?
Rhonda - Interesting that you are experiencing the same thing... we had the same eye issue, too. I will let you know what is going on when I find out more information.
Thanks ladies.

You could, I have a friend that has them right now from radiation and chemo lowering her immunity...she said it started like a prickly feeling, then pain, bad pain, and now the rash, just on 1/2 her chest and around to 1/2 her back...she is miserable.

Have they done a HIDA scan or just a gallbladder ultrasound? A HIDA scan is a nuclear med test to determine if your GB is sluggish or functionally normally. I think 30% or below is considered non-functioning well.
The test involves giving you some nukes (just what we need, eh?) and then they scan you. Then they administer a protein (I believe) that should stimulate the GB to go to work. They monitor it to watch it contract to see if it is operating correctly or not.
Skeetur (who obviously has had way too many tests... long before BC)

OK, I may be out of line here! Of course we are always tempted to fear the worst with every ache and pain but I find it more than a coincidence that your back problem began after moving heavy tables. Could you possibly have slipped a disc? Usually that would involve pain as well as tingling...but not necessarily.
Sounds like you have some ideas, and should get that gall bladder checked out but it may just be a regular old back injury. Not that that's fun, but at least it's not cancer.
Good luck
Chris
