Anyone else out there that was pregnant when diagnosed? I've had such a topsy-turvy year between BC, and having a baby @ 34 weeks, NICU etc, and treatment--that my own prognosis etc is just starting to make its way out of my subconscience. I'm right at the beginning of my radiation, and am 1/4 of the way done with Herceptin. By the way--my knees are shot!!! My onc is trying to tell me it's not the Herceptin and Taxol---boloney!!! I wasn't like this before cancer!! Trying to bend over and pick up baby toys and get up the stairs with a baby has been pretty bad.

I love this site!!!

Dear TT
I'm new to this site too, so I'll keep my reply brief in case I don't do it right and it gets lost in cyberspace. My heart goes out to you, what a lot you are having to deal with all at once. About the knee pains, I had chemo last summer, 8 lots, the last 4 were Taxotere. I had joint aches and pains with it, which my (wonderful) oncologist told me was a common side effect with Taxotere; for me it improved quite quickly once I'd finished, and 4 months after finishing it, I feel a lot better and just have tender feet that ache a little when I walk, and it seems to be getting better by the day. The dose was reduced after the first session, because the joint pain was quite severe, and after that it was much more manageable, don't know if that might be an option for you?
Warm wishes
