I have been back on Herceptin (weekly) for 2 months now (finished first round in April and was put on Tamoxifen). I restared because the Tamoxifen wasn't working and my PET Scan show liver mets and my tumor markers had gone up to 87. After 1 month on Herceptin they went down to 52 and now after the 2nd month they are at 40.8. I will stay on Herceptin for at least one more month weekly and then probably get another scan to see how things are going but for now I am very excited about how well the Herceptin is working.
keep up the good work and keep us posted!

Stephanie, That is awesome news! It sounds like herceptin is really doing its job. If herceptin has done that much in ONE month...just think what it could do in a few more. May you get to NED quickly. http://www.her2support.org/vbulletin/images/smilies/smile.gif Let us know what your scan says in a month...how exciting.
Hang in there...things are looking up.

Dear Stephanie: Herceptin has done wonders for me, also. I will begin Xeloda due to tumor growing back but will continue Herceptin (for life). Please continue updating us with your progress.
