Hi
I am new to all this Following diagnosis had 4 rounds of A/C now on herceptin apart from early menopause hot flashes and crusty nose I have been getting itchy skin Has any one else experienced this

Like you, I've just gone through 4 treatments of AC. While I don't have itchy skin like a rash, the dryness does make me itch more.
What I do have ultra sensitive skin. Everything irritates.
Oh the joys!
Itchiness can be a sign of allergies, but I'm guessing it's more likely to be a combo of chemopause and dry winter heat. If it were allergies it would be occurring inside your elbows. wrists and hives on your face. Minimize the heat, hot showers, soaps and slather on Eucerin. I'm doing this and still have patches of itchiness or excema, the itch that rashes. BB

chemo kills off fast dividing cells, including skin!!! use a pH neutral lotion and lots of it!!! I like eucerine and jergens. I'm 6 months off of chemo and still have problems (FEC & Taxol),still on herceptin, will be forever... (stage IV, IBC)
