Dx'd in November 2000 with occult primary Breast Cancer. Meaning can not find it in the breast but it is metastasied to auxilliary lymph nodes lymph nodes in chest and small tumor on liver and spleen. TX: taxol for six months and herceptin on once a week . August 2001- NED. January 2002 mets to Brain TX surgical removal of 3 cm tumor from cerebellum and WBR for 10 days. January 2003 mets to rib and femur plus nodes in chest enlarging. TX navelbine w/ herceptin as of May 2003 NED with three more treatments of Navelbine. Seems like January is my month to avoid tests. I keep a positive attitude and maintain my sense of humor. This has been a learning experience as I don't take things so serious any more and I thank God for every day that he gives me. I just recently became a Grand mother and that in itself is a blessing.
