herceptin isn't work?

Hi everyone! i hope you all feel better.
this is my story.I'm 33. HER2 positive.I just finished surgery4 weeks ago and then now I 'm going to take radiation therapy oct 23.
I took A+C 4 times and taxtere+herceptin 4 times as well.
so, I found a lump doing chemo same spot on mybreast again... before last time chemo a tumor is growing back.

me and my surgen all know it did shrink .I coudn't find lump that time anymore.
I was shoked!!! so as soon as I recover from 8times chemo I went surgery immediately. they did lumpectomy and 2 lympenode out.
test result for lympnode is negative .I'm happy with that.we all want sure that herceptin is working or not. result was negative which means herceptin isn't working for me. It was so quickly to grow almost same size even started chemo ..It was amazing.
my tumor is still running for exam ,because sometime 2 nd result is different .so, she want to make sure.
and if this is a same result we don't take a herceptin.
I really want take out my port!!(this is pain a butt.)
maybe another madicine?? I don't know what shoud I take it.
I will know that result this week.

You didn't mention your hormone status. Taxatore is the drug that noteably shrunk your tumor. I'm glad that your lymph node status was negative. I qould like to know what test did they did that determined the Herceptin was not working?

hello everyone.
my result came back negative.and Dr told me I'm not HER2 POSITIVE!!
I'm HER2 NEGATIVE and ER positive.
my exDr told me I have positive.1st biopsy came back positive but he didn't
run second time to make sure that.
I was suffer for nothing. I'm still have ichy skin this is from heceptin I took.
It wasn't nececely to take it .right?
I'm so confuse.

Peace, you need to get a FISH test to definitely find out about your HER-2 status.

If you are not HER2 positive then there is no need for you to take Herceptin. It certainly didn't hurt you in any way to take the Herceptin. What probably happened in your case was that your initial biopsy was by IHC and then when it was repeated it was by FISH. Only cancers that test IHC "3+" or FISH "positive" will respond well to Herceptin. An IHC 2+ test result is called borderline. If you have a 2+ result, you can and should ask to have the tissue tested with the FISH test.

Just and fyi: My IHC tested 2+. At my follow-up with the surgeon, he said he was still waiting for the fish test results.
Then I had my onc consultation and she told me when it is 2+ they don't do a fish because 2+ means it definitely is HER2+.
When I saw my surgeon again, he told me that no fish was done and he gave the same reason that my onc gave me.

it was HER2/CEP17 RATIO 1.74
I know I'm negative right?
I speak to socail worker what was happen to me.because this is not acceptable.
